The Director of Industrial Training Coordinating Centre is responsible for the general management, day-to-day administration and control of industrial training activities of students of all Faculties that participate in Industrial Training. Maintain and update as need arise the Fistula Care project’s Abuja contact list, and collaborate with relevant staff in scheduling dissemination of agendas and invitations to program activities
Responsible for taking minutes and reporting of the Fistula Care Project Meetings, collation of annual work plan and quarterly/annual reports and formatting in acceptable form for presentation to the CPM, documentation and follow-up as required
Serves as the primary archivist for the project, maintaining records of all projects or project-related reports, meeting notes, and other technical documents
Assists program staff in preparation of events/meetings agenda, and dissemination of press releases. Draft routine correspondence to partners and collaborators
Other comparable duties may be assigned to this position from time to time, in general support of Engender Health activities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND OTHER ABILITIES

THE ROLE: SHOWROOM FLOOR MANAGER


The role of the Floor Manager is to improve the commercial performance of the store by increasing its turnover and maximise profitability. Action will be required in all support functions within the showroom including store operations, customer care, marketing, finance, administration, stock control, health & safety. The successful candidate will be required to:
Analyse sales figures/data, interpret trends to facilitate planning and forecasting of future sales volume to maximise profits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing timely and quality accounting reports, back up accounting figures with relevant schedules and also manage a small team of subordinates in order to achieve department goals.


THE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidates should have (or meet) the following:
Minimum of BSC degree, second class honours (lower division) or HND (lower credit) in Accounting or related courses
Experience in a large manufacturing organization for not less than 3 years
Professional qualification (ACCA or ACA) is a major advantage
Not more that 40 years of age as at 1st January, 2010
Ability to work with computer system and software’s – MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD and the internet
